UltraSound Earns Bronze Award
The Activate Business Challenge ranks businesses between silver, gold, and bronze depending on how well the business has incorporated employee and workplace wellness such as promoting healthy eating, leading healthy lifestyles, engagement in community health initiatives, tobacco control and stress management. Activate Allen County recently recognized seven businesses in Allen County for their efforts to promote workplace wellness through its Activate Business Challenge.
In 2017, UltraSound Special Events Inc. was also part of a healthy kids fair for the Lima Community that was held at the Lima Civic and Convention center. The event featured involvement of kids in the community and the availability of programs provided by the YMCA, churches, and community organizations. A mobile Zipline was a featured attraction placed in the center of Main Street along with inflatable amusement activities inside the Civic center and in the town square area.
Inflatable amusement activities for rent encourage kids to be active with the jumping, running through obstacle courses, and climbing and sliding that a more like FUN than exercise to children participating. Bouncy games provide kids fun and health alternatives to video games and the excitement of competing against friends in the many sports themed or interactive designs.
At the February 23, 2018 Wake Rattle and Roll event, UltraSound Special Events Inc. was recognized with a Bronze award by Activate Allen County. The Lima/Allen County Chamber of Commerce earned a silver-level award, Ellerbrock Spine and Soft Tissue earned a gold-level award, First Federal Bank in Delphos earned the bronze-level award, Tuttle Services earned the silver-level award, Ultrasound Special Events Inc. earned the bronze-level award, Wannemacher Total Logistics earned the bronze-level award and West Ohio Community Action Partnership earned the gold-level award.
