We take weather planning and safety very serious and attempt to be proactive in preparation for anticipated weather situations. Many of our events occur outside whereby we continuously monitor conditions. Even when events are occurring indoors, winter weather conditions this time of year may prevent travel and we want to ensure the safety of our clients and guests in all situations. We always want to prepare and use caution in decision making.
As we prepare for a busy weekend and the possibility of severe winter weather conditions, please contact our office with any questions. All pending event contacts have been notified and provided appropriate phone numbers for direct contact to their event representative or event manager. An emergency notification prompt is available through our office line after hours or you may have the cell number of your immediate contact.
Our team is committed to making your event happen safely and will continue based on the advanced planning scenarios discussed with each client. As a base guideline, we will observe the accepted snow emergency guidelines for travel in making plans for travel of our team members and guests attending your weekend event.
Snow emergencies mean the following: LEVEL 1: Roadways are hazardous with blowing and drifting snow. Roads are also icy. Drive very cautiously. LEVEL 2: Roadways are hazardous with blowing and drifting snow. Only those who feel it is necessary to drive should be out on the roadways. Contact your employer to see if you should report to work or the event. We will attempt to coordinate efforts with our clients for cancellation and rescheduling if possible. LEVEL 3: All roadways are closed to non-emergency personnel.
